Toqey looking less intern-like
Looks like Toqey, my spaniel pup, lost out on the editorial internship he applied for on Sunday. It seems he was narrowly pipped to the post by a dead chinchilla.
Within hours of his application being sent, Toqey received this email:
If you put more effort into getting a job as you do writing these pathetic emails you might get somewhere in life you sad individual.

It was followed, shortly afterwards, by this one:
You know the real shame is your [sic] exactly what I’m looking for, someone with balls! But it’s unfortunate that you didn’t have the balls to apply as yourself or you would have seen this as a real oppertunity [sic] for someone of your talent.
Anyway, before Toqey could plead his case, a thrusting chinchilla called Sophie also applied from beyond the grave. After seven minutes, she got the message ‘Your hired!’. Not to be dissuaded, a cat also applied and was apparently offered an interview.
So, it looks like the pup was just too ‘ruff ruff’ and ready for the role.
